Oh my, it's wonderful to be painting again! This span over Christmas and New Year's Day I have been "paintless," and I felt so wonderfully normal again to have a brush in my hand and a palette before me. I hope it's not too late to wish you all a very Happy New Year filled to the brim with peace, hope and painting opportunities.

So glad you're back at it! This is gorgeous, so rich and fresh. You're as good with oils as with pastels.
ReplyDeleteThank you so much, Hilda.
ReplyDeleteScott, thank you for writing. I'm glad you like the texture. To me, that's one of the most exciting things I enjoy trying in painting.
ReplyDeleteLorraine, I appreciate your very kind words. It's such a joy to be painting again!!
ReplyDeleteSuch beautiful little radishes! And I love that they are in Christmas complementary colors. It's just the right remembrance of the past season.
ReplyDeleteLove those beautiful little rootlets, too!
It has always surprised me, Shirley, how nature provides so many complementary colors - they're just everywhere! Thank you for writing.
ReplyDeleteGreat Painting! I've enjoyed seeing your work on DPW and reading about the artist behind the paintings too :)
