It was such a clear day at Point Lobos the day we went. There had been a morning fog which had burned off by 9:30. The colors of the sky and sea, rocks and foliage were so brilliant. Several walking trails crisscross the park - every one of them with little scenes like this one.
Just beautiful carol!!The colors, the composition, the skill!! Love it!
ReplyDeleteThank you, Carol. The weather that day was remarkable in what CAN be a cold, chilly, foggy area. We were fortunate.
ReplyDeleteBeautifully painted Carol...great colors...
ReplyDeleteHilda, thank you so much for your comment! I always enjoy using the luscious colors in the pastel box!
ReplyDeleteHi Carol, I jut discovered you on DPW, and I love your work - a lot of it is what I'd like mine to look like. I love your use of color and texture, and the subtle depth of the backgrounds.. so I've added a few of your images to my 'desktop image' file to inspire me, Thanks!!
