"A Shore Thing" 6" X 12" Oil on panel


One of the many seagulls strolling the beach on Monterey Bay. I loved the numerous colors found in the water's edge as the waves rolled in.

    You really nailed the colors of the sand and water, not to mention that the little gull looks just right! Looks like a beautiful beach morning to me:)

      Thank you, Libby. Yep, it WAS a beautiful beach morning...warm, sunny and just the sounds of the waves and chatter of the gulls.

    Wow!! This seagull is painted perfectly..love the shadows and color of the sand!!!! Excellent.
