"AGAPANTHUS SHADOWS" OIL 8" X 10"

Agapanthus has always been a favorite flower of mine. There used to be so many of them on the Monterey Peninsula where we lived for a long time. There, they were usually a pretty blue-violet color, and they really stood out from the dark green of the other vegetation. The ones in this painting were in Santa Fe and were a warm pink color. Must be all the sun vs. the fog of California's central coast.
