"Grandson 2, The Younger" 9" X 12" pastel on Wallis paper


This is my youngest grandchild
soon to be 9 years old. 
He is the happiest , "smilingest" and most easy-going  
child I know. In fact, we say he was born smiling!

He is so excited about life, and
he makes all of us excited about life.

Here are both of them together.
We love them very much and are
excited to see what they do in this world.

    Like the older grandson this one looks so sweet and happy, such a blessing , and your 'grandmother love' clearly shows itself in these beautiful portraits.

    You are very kind, Hilda. I have to tell you that I reworked the eyes 14 times. I kid you not! Just couldn't get them to look like his own. I am pleased that Their Dad liked the paintings.

    It was worth doing the eyes all those times, Carol. I get the feeling he has a humorous glint in them. Bravo!
    One day, these two good looking boys may have kids of their own who will have a resemblance to these lovely portraits. It is a beautiful gift of a certain time in their lives.
