"Hidden in the Grasses" 6" X 8" Oil on linen


For some reason I'm back into "flower mode" again. I didn't necessarily plan it, but have been delighted to paint a breath of Spring during these cold days. Won't be long before the garden departments of many stores will be full of starter plants and hanging baskets. Can't wait!!

  1. "Flower mode" suits you well! This one is beautiful. Delicate and very mysterious somehow. Without sounding silly, the petals almost look like they are sighing. Really nice, Carol.

  3. I, for one, am certainly pleased you are in flower mode. The way you cropped and painted this one is STUNNING. Honestly, I thought it was a photograph when I first saw it. Looking forward to your next one.
