"PUH-LEASE, CAN WE GO?" Pastel 6" X 12"

I had a blast doing this one! First of all, working on Pastelbord is always fun because one can get so many effects with it. It almost begs you to play with texture and color. Secondly, if the puppy were a live model rather than a photo, it's almost like he's telling me to hurry up and finish. His patience has worn thin!
This one will be for sale on my  Daily Paintworks and  Freshpaint Daily Painters pages starting tomorrow December 11th.
Have a great weekend!!

  5. The background color is so right and the painting dimensions are perfect. I think he's waiting for somebody to toss him a ball!

  6. Hi, Shirley. Thank you for commenting. I like these long and narrow surfaces for so many things - both vertical and horizontal. They're somehow "different," but suit the needs of some subjects.
